On July 18, 2026, Li Liubin, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of China Forestry Group Corporation (CFGC), led the core team of CFGC, together with representatives from the Harbin Forestry Machinery Research Institute (HFMRI), Chongqing Forestry Investment and Development Co., Ltd (CQFL), and Party Secretary and Chairman, Zhougang and other members of Guangxi Forestry Group Co.,Ltd (GXFG), had visited the production base of XUVOL forestry equipment. In-depth discussions were held on core topics about the standardized management of national reserve forests, comprehensive plans for scientific timber harvesting, the modernization of mechanized operations in mountainous forest areas, and improving the quality and efficiency of logging sites. With the same vision, participants together with XUVOL explored a new model for the development of modern forestry operations based on ecological priority, compliant logging, mechanization, and sustainable management.

As a national-level and state-owned forestry enterprises, CFGC operates a full industrial chain covering national reserve forest layout, forest tending, logging and cut-over land regeneration. It has built large-scale forest bases across Guangxi, Hunan, Chongqing, Fujian and other regions, and formed a standardized logging management system covering selective cutting, intermediate cutting, tending cutting and low-yield forest renovation. Adhering to the national logging quota system and the green principle of consumption lower than growth, CFGC consistently promotes the standardization, mechanization and safety upgrading of forest logging operations. At the symposium, CFGC introduced the operation design specifications, compartment zoning criteria and classified logging management mechanisms for national reserve forests. Targeted logging modes are adopted for different forest stands: reasonable final cutting for mature timber forests, tending intermediate cutting for young and middle-aged forests, and renovation clear cutting for low-efficiency forests. Post-logging regeneration and ecological restoration are fully implemented to realize sustainable recycling of forest resources.

Based on logging conditions for mainstream tree species such as southern pinus massoniana and fast-growing eucalyptus, and addressing the challenges of logging in complex mountainous terrain, XUVOL systematically shares a comprehensive set of practical logging solutions. These solutions cover the entire chain—from pre-harvest forest survey and planning, and the precise division of logging plots, to the integrated operation of felling machines, log grapples, and transport equipment; log grading and consolidation; closed-loop safety management; and digital management of logging records; For scenarios such as steep-sloped forestlands, scattered small plots, and high-density pine forests, we have customized lightweight, high-mobility machinery combinations to replace traditional manual operations. This significantly improves harvesting efficiency and reduces labor safety risks, while strictly adhering to CFGC’s operational requirements for compliant harvesting, graded material selection, and quality enhancement and value creation.
